Dr. Fernstrom played collegiate football at Eastern Washington University and Eastern Oregon University before transferring to Brigham Young University–Idaho, where he earned his degree in Exercise Physiology.
After completing his undergraduate studies, he attended the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in Austin, Texas, where he completed his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2021, graduating with high honors.
Since becoming a physical therapist, Dr. Fernstrom has continued pursuing advanced education and training to provide the highest level of care possible for his patients.
Advanced certifications and training through the American Academy of Spinal Manipulative Therapy include:
- Certified Dry Needling (Cert. DN)
- Certified Musculoskeletal Ultrasound (Cert. MSKUS)
- Ultrasound-Guided Dry Needling Training
- Spinal Manipulation Training
In 2025, he was voted:
“Best Physical Therapist”
by the community of Dripping Springs, Texas.
